Prof. Dr. Meliha Benli Altunışık ODTÜ Uluslararası İlişkiler Bölümü öğretim üyesidir. Prof. Altunışık, 1988-1989 Akademik Yılı’nda Harvard Üniversitesi Center for Middle Eastern Studies’de Fulbright burslusu olarak eğitim görmüştür. Doktorasını 1994 yılında Boston Üniversitesi’nden almıştır. Ortadoğu Politikası ve Uluslararası İlişkileri, Türkiye’nin Ortadoğu bölgesi ile ilişkileri ve uluslararası petrol politikaları konularında uzmanlaşmıştır. Washington D.C’de bulunan Middle East Institute’da “non-resident fellow”dur.
