Planet at the Breaking Point: Climate Crisis of the Destructive Civilization – Nesrin Algan

The idea of dominating nature and its resources lies at the basis of civilization established by the human species on planet Earth. While pushing the limits of the Earth and causing irreversible ecological destruction, this idea also contains the danger of destroying human civilization. This understanding of civilization, shaped by the growth policies while contributing to the “sixth great extinction” and the current climate crisis, has now acquired a destructive character. To slow down, stop, or reverse this process, it is necessary for humanity to radically redefine the understanding and policies of transformation, progress, development, and civilization.
