Ozan Emin Halhallı studied law at the Turkish-German University (TAÜ) from 2013 to 2018. He studied law on scholarship at various universities in Germany. He completed his master’s degree with a thesis titled “Human Dignity as the Inviolable Core of Fundamental Rights: Examples from Communication-Related Fundamental Rights in Germany and Turkey,” written under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Philip Kunig. After working briefly as an attorney, he began his position as a research assistant at TAÜ in 2020 to conduct research in the field of “international law.” In 2025, he completed his doctoral studies at TAÜ with a dissertation titled “Sustainable Fisheries from the Perspective of International Law: The Relationship Between Freedom of Fishing and the Depletion of Fish Stocks,” written under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tolga Candan. He has various publications and research works in the field of international maritime law.
