Ceren Melis Kıcıroğlu is a research assistant in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences. She completed her MSc in International Relations at the Middle East Technical University and subsequently pursued her doctoral studies at Istanbul University. Her research focuses on the intersections of Lacanian psychoanalysis, ontological security theory, and Turkish foreign policy. In addition to her academic publications in these areas, she contributes to UN- and NATO-funded research projects on gender and international relations.
