Abdullah Akyüz currently works as an economic advisor. Previously, he served at the Capital Markets Board (SPK) and Istanbul Stock Exchange (BIST) at various capacities. He also served as the founding president of TUSIAD’s US Representative office in Washington, DC. He has published 3 books/reports and numerous articles in finance, economics, and US-Turkish relations. His current passion is the economic&financial history of the late Ottoman-early Republican periods. He’s a graduate of Galatasaray, Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara University and University of California, Davis.
