V. Mert Nacar graduated from the English-taught Department of Political Science and International Relations at Istanbul University in 2025. He is concurrently pursuing a BSc in International Relations at the London School of Economics and a thesis-based M.A. in Global Affairs at Bahçeşehir University. His academic work focuses on the intersection of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and international relations, where he seeks to translate theoretical insights into practice through the development of AI-based models and data-driven analytical tools, with particular emphasis on technology diplomacy and digital security strategies. In terms of professional experience, Nacar completed an internship at the DEİK Eurasia Business Council, where he assumed responsibilities in the planning, coordination, and reporting of high-level organizational activities. He has also been involved in European studies and policy-oriented projects through the Jean Monnet–funded FUTUREU and COPFuturEU programmes.
