Dr. İbrahim Mazlum is a faculty member at Marmara University, Department of Political Science and International Relations (English). His research focuses on global environmental politics, the relationship between environmental and security issues, climate change, transboundary waters in the Middle East, and environmental migration. He has various national and international scholarly works in these areas. He teaches courses on International Relations Theory, Security Studies, Global Environmental Politics, and Foreign Policy Analysis. He has conducted research at Tel Aviv University as a scholarship holder of the Turkish Ministry of National Education; at the University of Arizona’s Center for Middle Eastern Studies as a TÜBA Integrated Domestic–Overseas Doctoral Program fellow; at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London; and at the Westminster International University in Tashkent and Tashkent State University of Economics as a researcher under the EU H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Program.
