He received his undergraduate degree in International Relations from Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences, a master\u2019s degree in International Law from Sheffield University (the UK)), and a doctoral degree in International Law from the University of Bristol (the UK). Areas of expertise are international maritime law, international law of armed conflicts and international human rights law. He published many academic articles in qualified academic journals. He is also the author of the books, \u201cThe Aegean Maritime Disputes and International Law\u201d, \u201cThe Crime of Aggression in International Law\u201d, \u201cAsylum Strategy of Turkey from the Global and Regional Perspectives\u201d and \u201cBasic Textbook on International Law.He did post-doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law at the University of Hawaii in the USA, and also gave lectures at the \u00c7anakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Izmir University of Economics, Eski\u015fehir Osmangazi University, Turkish Military Academy, and At\u0131l\u0131m University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He is currently a professor of International Law at Ankara Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m Beyaz\u0131t University Faculty of Law (Turkey).
